Interview: Aurore PFISTER, Executive assistant, CSR & HR officer

Smartclic, committed to a more responsible world

Signatory of the Global Compact since 2014, we find, within this global movement, a strong resonance with the values that have always driven the agency. Anxious to bring our entire ecosystem on board with us – manufacturer, customers, partners – we take advantage of the annual publication of our Communication for Progress to present you the heart of Smartclic’s societal commitment. Aurore Pfister, executive assistant in charge of HR and CSR issues at the agency, explains.

How to summarise Smartclic’s societal commitment?

Smartclic has always been concerned about well-being at work and acts in favour of a more sustainable world. And even if it is fashionable to say it, it is not just a speech. Commitment is part of the deep identity of the agency. A sincere and real commitment that I experience every day as an employee. By joining Smartclic in 2019, I found values of trust, benevolence, listening and intrapreneurship which are also close to mine.

What are the challenges for the agency?

Smartclic is in an important development phase and does not want to lose its essence. People, employee experience and quality of life at work are part of its strengths and the commitment of each employee at the time of the crisis has proven it. To succeed in this development, the agency has placed career support at the heart of its priorities for the coming months with training and development plans adapted to the needs of each.

How does the Global Compact refers to Smartclic’s commitment?

Being a signatory of the Global Compact is a voluntary process in which Smartclic has been committed since 2014. Vincent Daumas, the founder of the agency, found in this international movement a strong resonance with the values he always has claimed. Writing the annual Communication for Progress document is a great opportunity to rethink our commitment and put it into perspective. It is the perfect reflection of what drives Smartclic: contributing to a more stable, more inclusive and more sustainable society at the agency level but also in the choice of its partners and the solidarity actions brought on a daily basis.

Smartclic has always been concerned about well-being at work and acts in favour of a more sustainable world. And even if it is fashionable to say it, it is not just a speech. Commitment is part of the deep identity of the agency.
