The art of French handicraft

La Bastide des Arômes: just by its name the company is offering a journey. The sweetness of the South of France, the delicacy of its scents, the light of its colours. Specialised in perfumes, candles and soaps, this small family business is obviously based in the Grasse region. Meet Elodie Cailly, the sales manager.

When Frédéric STOCKLOUSER, the founder, asked Elodie to join the Bastide des Arômes team four years ago, she did not hesitate for a moment. After starting her career in important groups in the energy and hazardous waste transport department, Elodie learnt what she wants, and above all what she no longer wants! “It’s a job of passion that I chose. I don’t feel like I’m coming to work here,” she says. In fact, the small company is comprised of only a dozen people. And yet the activity is very varied: it manufactures and markets about forty perfumes for men and women, interior perfumes, candles and soaps. Nothing to be bored with!

An artisanal brand made in France

One of the key strength of Bastide des Arômes is to have cultivated and maintained for 25 years the quality of a fully artisanal and French manufacture offering accessible costs to all. “Everything is produced manually in our workshops. With one watchword: quality before quantity.” Very active on the internet thanks to its online sales website, the brand is also represented in 4 boutiques and participates in the biggest fairs in France. It is actually for these kind of events that the company requires Smartclic to outfit the sales representatives according to the brand’s colours.
