What is SOLIHA’s mission in a nutshell?
SOLIHA is a network of 123 associations throughout France (metropolitan France and DROM-COM) that helps people in precarious situations to access or remain in housing.
The other aspect of SOLIHA’s original core business is helping the elderly and disabled to adapt their homes, as well as assisting owner-occupiers with energy renovation.
The SOLIHA movement is made up of dedicated structures:
Agence Immobilière Sociale, whose aim is to enable landlords to entrust the rental management of their homes to SOLIHA and then house people in precarious situations. The difference with SOLIHA is that these are private homes, whereas the HLMs are associated with the State. The aim of this structure is to offer the lowest possible rents and then, when necessary, to support the new occupants in managing their accommodation and their budget.
Bâtisseur de Logements d’Insertion: construction or renovation of housing for people in precarious situations.
SOLIHA’s 3,550 employees help homeowners with their projects from start to finish:
– from a technical point of view, with their expertise in housing,
– from an administrative point of view, in putting together applications for subsidies,
– all the social aspects
– on the financial side, with the management of all applications for financial assistance such as “MaPrimeAdapt’ or MaPrimeRénov'”.
Finally, they also provide support to local authorities in carrying out regional projects to define and implement housing policy.
Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your role at SOLIHA?
My name is Thomas BACHELET and I’m the head of communications at the SOLIHA Federation, so I’m in charge of internal and external communication for the Federation and the SOLIHA network of associations.
I’m Fabien Lavoisier, in charge of communication at the Federation on a sandwich course, and my tasks are similar to Thomas’.
How did you hear about SMARTCLIC and our services?
We got in touch with Smartclic via Mr François ZAGO. He is an ORPI customer with whom SMARTCLIC has been working for over 10 years via its Orpi agencies in Martinique and Arles. He also happens to be the President of the SOLIHA AIS Antilles association. We began our initial discussions in July 2022 and then carried out several projects before moving towards the creation of a SMARTSHOP web-to-print solution in October 2023.
Why implement a SMARTSHOP web-to-print solution in your organisation?
We were facing problems with respecting our graphic charter. Each association used its own service provider for one-off requirements and the result was sometimes far from SOLIHA’s graphic charter. We used to have an annual order system, which lacked flexibility for the associations in the network, who had to wait for this one-off order before being able to take advantage of rates negotiated by the Federation. Having a SMARTSHOP enables us to remove all our obstacles and benefit from : consistent graphics across all the associations and branches
a catalogue of relevant, high-quality products at negotiated prices, including a selection of CSR products that are in line with our approach as an association the possibility of making non-catalogue requests directly via the website 24/7 online accessibility with product preview before ordering DTP control to ensure that our charter is applied to product personalisation
How have our products & your SMARTSHOP affected your operations and visibility?
After 2 months of use, there’s no doubt about it: the Federation’s communications department saves a lot of valuable time, as it no longer has to deal with requests for media, and the network is more autonomous in managing its communications. The associations are delighted with the products and services on offer.
A final word?
The project has gone very well – the benefits are already perceptible after 2 months. We’re lucky to have a very good working relationship with the SMARTCLIC team – thank you!
